I use these buckets to store paint. They are opened and closed every few days so they are actively used. I like the 5 qt capacity as it allows me room to add a bit of water and mix/thin the paint with room to spare. Last week I walked into the shop to find one of the buckets opened on the bottom spilling the entire contents onto the shelf and all below. There was a crack that opened on its own. We are in Florida so they never got too cold. They are stored in a temp controlled environment. I'm cautiously using the remainder but will upgrade to the hudson line as they are more robust. I wanted to like these so bad but I got what I paid for.
