Super quite definitely a buy, make sure it’s lined up properly before starting the engine.

I bought this belt to go along with a new tensioner and idler that I replaced on my daughter's 2010 328i convertible with the N52 engine. I was replacing the AC compressor and thought I might as well swap the tensioner and pulley while I'm at it.I don't know for certain if the belt i removed was the original (115k miles), but it was in good shape. Continental is the supplier for the belts, which is why I got this one instead of buying it from BMW...it's the same belt at a better price. You really can never go wrong using OEM parts or those from the original supplier. They're usually a bit better quality than aftermarket parts. I would recommend this belt to others with the N52 engine (I'm not sure if it fits the N51 or not).

E90 328i. Literally a 5 min install, don't really need to stretch this belt out like some. Bought 2 just incase.

For BMW N52 engine - this fits as a replacement. Most aftermarket replacements are the equivalent of this size, unless you actually purchase BMW OE belt (also made by Continental/Contitech), however OE actual size is 6PK1990.This belt, and any other aftermarket equivalent is 6PK1995, a 5mm (or 0.25%) difference vs OE.Imperial, this translates to 78.5" - there isn't an aftermarket belt I can find that offers 78.3" which is the OE size. The tensioner will render the difference negligible, however, when you consider a belt to be worn as it stretches with time, you essentially start off the new replacement belt with a slight stretch versus original, meaning potentially less longevity. This issue isn't a knock on this specific belt (quality is great), the issue is universal with any non-OE replacement belt for the N52 as the OE size doesn't exist aftermarket.

Well i had this belt for a week and lets say that it is already being replaced. You can see in the pictures it frayed within a week....Now amazon was great in sending a replacement next day for free. But i thought this belt was top notch?

Belt itself seems to be of good quality and installed with no problem. After 2 months of running it is starting to squeal when i first start my car in the morning. I replaced both the idler pulley and tensioner pulley at the same time so it is not the pulleys making the sound. Just to be sure I placed my old belt back on the car and it is perfectly silent. next time I will purchase a Gates belt instead.

At 70k miles my belt started to squeak. Appearance wise the old belt looked brand new, no cracks or anything so I added some belt dressing. It got rid of the squeak for about a day, and came back. Decided it was time to just replace it for only 20$. The work was easier than I thought! Went on perfectly, just make sure to check each rivet and grove to make sure each pully is aligned correctly before starting your engine! Mine fired off just fine and on cold mornings/nights the car starts off squeal free! I can now listen to my nice engine as intended. Would recommend to anyone.

I have to say this is a really nice well made belt. the design on the back should help to prevent slippage, it is nice and quiet on my daughters 06 Hyundai Tucson. It is an excellent fit and I even managed to install this myself! I fully reccomend this belt by Goodyear!
