I got these for my boys who are 12yo and weigh 90lbs. The short of it is they disintegrated after 2 hours of use (for both of them). We climbed a 2000' peak. The back D rings pop out under load and pretty soon the plastic grooves that are supposed to hold them in disintegrate. These things are junk. OK to walk around in your back yard maybe but basically a toy. There are real versions of this device at x2 the price - and I expect they're fine - but don't buy this!

Heel bale popped out during first use, and deformed the plastic. The plastic is not strong enough. Could not trust them in the backcountry. However, the store did take them back easily, and gave a refund.
