See photos. Listing clearly says Honeywell, in several places. Resideo is a controversial spin off of Honeywell, with some kind of license agreement.Edited for incorrect information. This kit is probably fine for the purpose.

Heating. Guy came install but my heat did not work after spending a lot of time ,figure out the module was not working spent another 130 to get same module from a spare part shop . . Heat is on but too much disappointment

I bought this kit hoping I could convert my Mr. Heater shop heater to electric ignition. It is working well in this application. You will need a transformer (24VAC) and a simple thermostat as well - all of which is available on Amazon.

Bought it and installed it. Worked once then gas valve would not turn on! Problem was low voltage supplied to the valve by the control module.They authorized a return but wanted the entire kit back. Bummer, Gas plumbing to the valve is the most work so I won't return it to them. Bought a new controller ($89.) elsewhere instead. So, my advice, don't buy the kit. Buy the components seperately. Then if problems, you can just replace the failed part. You need to buy the pilot assembly separately anyway, The pilot stuff supplied in the kit is useless! The valve works GREAT.

Used it on Colman furnance 7600 ( old model).the unit worked only for a month,then quit.when winter started it didnt work.check all wiring connections. Reported you and no replies.Amazon gave me no help in getting ahold of you.Dont knw what warranty it had.PG and E checked said it was the module bad,so bought another new module on line for $50...It worked good on and off. For a few months and now its out again.Have power and grd to gas valve ,but no pilot light on. It works later a few day slater and then ges out again. I am going to get PG &E to see again. Its real cold here I think it might be a bad gas valve.Can't find a good wiring diagram to troubleshoot.

Works perfectly. I ripped all the old, obsolete, no-parts-available control stuff out of my gas furnace and put this in. It is wonderful. You might have to cut and thread some gas pipe to fit, but other than that it's a no-brainer. Full directions are online and you can use a search engine to find them if you are afraid that this job is too iffy for you. Yay! Thanks to this, my 50-year old furnace has a lew lease on life, and I think it'll keep going just fine until it rusts away.

Forced air furnace no heat. Found gas control was dead. Replaced defective white-rodgers standing pilot gas control with this kit. Decided to upgrade to electric ignition so this kit was ideal. Easy install if you are handy with tools and have a general idea how gas controls work. Replaced thermocouple with ignitor, bent old pilot gas tubing to connect to new valve, and mounted control to burner. A little modification is needed to route HV ignitor cable and control box but nothing major. Hooked up wiring harnes and turned on gas supply and was pleased to see it working like new. Now no pilot wasting gas and for just a few dollars more than just fixing old one.
