I now own 4 different CooB scoops after this purchase. I purchased this one primarily for travel. It is small enough to pack but large enough that will be effective in scooping a large enough volume of sand. I also like that this scoop has 2 different sizes of holes. Larger 10mm hex shaped holes forward to aid in removing sand and small 7mm hex shaped holes in the back so you don't lose small items. They are made from heavy duty materials and are well finished. These scoops are indestructible. You can't go wrong with a Coob scoop.

This is a very well balanced and sturdy shovel. I used this at the beach with easy, and it’s so much better than bending over all the time. I used a fiberglass handle from a hoe that I cut to length. It’s not too heavy, and it’s easy to carry. I did ding it one star for the almost instant rust on the tool after a single use. Time will tell how far that goes, but given its stainless steel I was surprised to see the rust.

I like it a lot. For the money it is great. My handle was not red and black. It was just black.It's small enough to be pushed into the sand, but large enough to grab a small area of sand.Good design.

This is a very nice sand scoop for the price but it has one problem. It is difficult to find a handle that fits. Finally used PVC pipe with 1" outside diameter. There was still a small space that I filled in with spare plastic. Otherwise a very good product.

Heavy duty scoop that is robust and well-built. A little narrower than I expected, but it isn't a problem. I bought a long shovel handle at the big box store and attached with one screw, and it's secure. The hex design assures that small objects won't fall through and get missed. Only the smallest earings might find an escape!The hand handle included is nice, but I never use it, preferring to stand upright for recovery, rather than be on my knees all day in the sand...especially wet sand.All in all, I'm very pleased with the purchase, and I'm sure this will give me years of service. Recommended.

The overall quality is excellent and the construction is very sturdy. It works great in both wet or dry sand. Considering it was coming from across the pond it arrived much sooner than the projected delivery date. I added a light weight handle from a broken snow shovel which will go a long way in saving my back.

Scoop arrived promptly, well packaged & well before time. An absolutely SUPERB piece of metal craftsmanship. It is sturdy, well-made and is well balanced in the hand. The steel is heavy gauge and will, no doubt, last a lifetime. It was well worth the short wait.
