I looked forward to receiving this item but was very disappointed. This item had a great flexible feel however the performance was not there. That beautiful in-depth impression that is shown did not live up to its advertisement, barely left an impression in some areas and was difficult to try an compensate applying more pressure to try an achieve a consistent look. This item is my first negative review and I was reluctant to initially address however in all fairness I would not recommend this item…save your money.

This is by far my favorite texture for metal clay design. When you use large portions of it (e.g. pendant or 1" earring medallions) it is reminiscent of old Mediterranean (Turkish) images. If you use it for narrow pieces or borders, it has a complex and rich feel to it. Patina of course enhances the contrast. It is luscious.

do not buy these for clay. The depth is almost non existent! I think they would only work for ink.
