Why Do You Need Bonbo Coolant Bypass Kit?
One of the biggest issues on the 24 valves is the coolant flow problem to the rear cylinders, and therefore, experience the highest coolant temperatures. This can cause excessive pressure to build in the cooling system, especially the rear of the block and blow out freeze plugs externally, or the smaller diameter plugs under the valve cover, leading to a failure.
Our coolant bypass kit adds a secondary thermostat, works based on temperature instead of excessive pressure. This solves the problem before pressure becomes an issue by ensuring consistent temperatures across all six cylinders. This kit is P.O.S!Had a mechanic install this. The fittings on the hose are a very cheap soft aluminium didn't even last 24 HRS. blew the hose off driving down the road. The front thermostat housing and rear thermostat housing are okay so far! DONT CHEAP OUT LIKE I DID GET THE FLEECE PERFORMANCE KIT!

Don’t waste your time and money with this junk i ordered 2 kits and both with the same issue the hose is a complete junk the nut piece came off on both hoses and the main oring is not the right one for this is to big and don’t fit in the engine

This product was much better then the last the o ring is wrong on the part that goes in block you have to swap them as they put wrong seal on it

Name brand over charging if you ask me. It’s a pain to install but works as it should. 2003 5.9 Cummins with the 6 speed.

Oring sent with kit does not fit I have engine out of truck and still cannot install. No way is someone going to be able to install this with engine in vehicle still. Spend the extra money and get the Fleece Kit I have installed many Fleece kits with no issue. I figured I would try one of these as a cheaper alternative and can say I highly regret it.

This is a very nice kit and is just as good of quality as the big name brand kit, but there assembly QC could do much better. I would leave a higher review but due to the location that it mounts it is almost impossible to get to without removing the engine. As stated before, it’s a nice quality kit but after install we couldn’t get the cooling system to hold pressure and found out after much difficulty the thermostat housing never had an O-ring installed. Luckily we were able to find another square cut O-ring in the shop.

I was skeptical after dumping so much into my ‘11 6.7 engine build. Have used lots of fleece bypass on customers and decided to try this one. Fit perfect and 10k miles later still no issues and performs just as expected as far as rear cylinder cooling goes.
