failed in 13 months, just sent message to BRTEC for warranty replacement . Informed theres 2 day time frame to get back to me. plus its holiday, 3 days. if they do honor warranty i'm sure it will be 2 to 3 weeks before i recieve replacement . i cannot wait, i need my vehicle today. doubful they will cover cost n overnight shipping of replacement item. therefore a negative review is in order. doorman item lasted 3 years before it failed. same price. i recommend doorman or ACDELCO item lasted 9 years
