PROS: These do exactly what they're supposed to do: protect your Toyota smart key fob from scratches, dings and drops, while looking stylish and professional. An additional plus: you can easily access the pull-out mechanical key, which is difficult or impossible with many of the other key fob covers sold here.CON: These do have a tendency to attract pocket lint, due to their soft rubber texture. A small price to pay for all of their advantages, however.

Pretty easy to get on, don't know if printing will last only time will tell. One nit is that minuscule LED light does not really show up because silicone matching hole is a little small.

I put my ignition fob in my pocket. It rattles around with all the stuff I carry and it can be pretty hard on an electronic device like this. I've had it for about 6 months and it is protecting the fob like a champ. If you want to carry your's in your pocket and don't want to beat it to death, get this.

Please consider that the back of the Toyota remote contains a NFC emergency chip that is needed to start the car if the remote battery runs down, or if the remote electronics are damaged. I’ve already dropped my remote multiple times onto hard pavement without any damage to it, thanks to this cover.To test the NFC emergency start chip yourself, turn off the remote (press-and-hold the lock button while simultaneously pressing the unlock button three times) and confirm that you cannot gain entry to the car by grasping the driver’s door handle. Next remove the emergency door key from the bottom of the remote and unlock the car. While depressing the brake, hold the NFC chip (it’s underneath the toyota emblem on the back of the remote) onto (or as close as possible to) the start button and press the start button to start the car. If this tested procedure does not work, you may have already damaged your remote’s NFC chip.Incidentally, it is good practice to turn off the remote at night, because thieves can boost your remote’s always-on signal to unlock and start your car if you keep your key near your entry door, near a window, or even on an outside-facing wall.
