I ordered this pedometer to help me with tracking my workout. I like how simple this pedometer is to use and how it literally only has one single button to press. The device has 4 screens on it that you can flip through: 1. The time 2. Calories burned 3. Distance traveled 4. Amount of steps. It's super simple to operate and easy to understand. We've all seen those fancy pedometers and fitness watches that have multiple buttons and screens that are hard to figure out. This pedometer is easy peasy to operate! But the good things end there...Now here's a list of the things I'm not too fond of with this:-There are instructions but most of them focus on the app and I thought that was strange. They do talk about the physical device, but they focus heavily on downloading the app and signing up for that. Its nice to have the option to use the app if you want to, but why would I buy a physical pedometer to wear on my waist if I'm planning on using their app? Why even buy the pedometer? There's lots of free pedometer and step counting apps that I could download of that's the case-The listing says that you can clip the pedometer on your waistband or wear it on the included lanyard... Which is good... But the instructions clearly state that you won't get the same reading using the lanyard as you do on your waist. It says that the lanyard won't properly detect running, but will detect walking. If you want to get a proper reading every time, then you need to wear it on your waist. If you clip it anywhere else on your pants, then your reading might or might not be accurate according to their instructions. The listing doesn't say this at all. If it did, then I wouldn't have ordered this.-I used this pedometer for 2 days in a row. One day it stated that I walked 1.29 miles walking twice around the perimeter of my neighborhood twice. The other day it said that I walked 1.4 miles. Which number is right? Is either one right? Who knows!Due to the inaccurate readings, the instructions trying hard to make me download an unnecessary app, and the listing not being truthful about how the numbers will be different depending on how it's worn override the simple operation and the simple display on the screen. It does not good to have a device that's easy to read and simple to operate if everything else doesn't make sense.

This is so perfect for me --- BUT -- I don't expect the youngest generations would love it like I do- without using the app you can connect it to. I love it because it is BASIC - and SIMPLE and ready to start and use immediately out of the box! That's exactly what I did - perfect. It has oversized numbers and keeps track of your STEPS, DISTANCE covered and your estimated CALORIES BURNED. It makes a lot of claims about accuracy, which I find pretty true. (If it's off I can't tell it). It works just as well indoors and outdoors so it really captures your whole day.FOR TECH LOVERS!!!! Immediately in the guide It gives you all the info for the app that syncs together using your iPhone if you would like it. With this you can measure more things, set personal goals and keep up with many details to help you with your health. Its a great size and even comes with a lanyard if you don't want to clip it to yourself -- great value I think ---- I will probably buy another one just like it when this one wears out or gets lost!
