About this item

  • COOLING TOUCH: Our neck gaiter for men is made of 90% polyamide, which dissipates heat faster than regular polyester gator and gives you an ice-silk cooling touch. The breathable material wicks away your sweat to keep you cool and comfortable on your outdoor adventures.
  • UPF 30+: Our face cover for sun protection blocks 97% of harmful UV rays, shielding you from the sun. This gators face mask also protects against dust, wind, insects and other particles. Wearing our neck gaiter for total outdoor protection and comfort while working or exercising outdoors!
  • FLATLOCK STITCHES: The UV face mask seamless sewing eliminates traditional seams and prevents the seams from rubbing against your skin during extended wear. Whether working or playing outdoors, the smooth stitching ensures irritation-free wear and no fraying of the thread.
  • ONE SIZE FITS ALL: Measuring 18 in by 9.8 in, the cooling neck gaiter is made of four-way stretch fabric and can be worn in a variety of ways as needed, such as sun protection, scarf, face cover, bandana, headwrap, or balaclava. Its versatile use makes it a must-have for any summer outdoor activity.
  • FOR SUMMER OUTDOOR: Designed to keep you cool on hot summer days, this neck gaiter also provides the versatile protection you need. It seamlessly fits into your outdoor lifestyle, making it an essential outdoor gear, perfect for fishing, cycling, hiking, camping, or motorcycling.

I have a few more cottony gaiters that are great in many situations but I don't love how the fibers get caught in my 5 o'clock (or multiday) stubble. Also, when I put them over my mouth in the cold, they get wet and it's kinda gross. And this is why I wanted to try these. And I have been very pleased with their performance in warm weather! I haven't tried them in cold weather so I'm not sure but it seems like their quick-drying capabilities would also be beneficial in the cold.I've worn these for several days now and they have been very comfortable, not getting caught on my stubble and, frankly, almost being completely forgotten. I have a scar on my neck and the sun protection it offers that scar brings me peace of mind as it is thicker and sturdier than my older cotton gaiters. The weirdest thing is how they don't feel excessively warm - they aren't fantastically breathable but, in upper-80's weather (which is the upper limit of my comfort level), sufficiently breathable. Hopefully they continue to be comfortable in the lower-100's though I avoid being outside as much as I can at that point! These have a nice cool skin-feel which has been very nice though I'm curious how they'll do in the cold. We're expecting a 30 degree drop here in the next couple days so I should be able to see if they are still comfortable in the cool. As these have a more synthetic feel, I was concerned that they would smell bad (both initially and with my own sweat mixed in) but so far, they have had a very neutral smell.Overall, I can see me wearing these nearly every day during peak gardening and hiking seasons and once every week or two otherwise. I'm super happy that I got these!

My initial impression:These Haoteey neck gaiters are solidly made, super lightweight, and surprisingly comfortable to wear. At a price point of $10 for 4, they represent an excellent value. I have tested one while jogging and riding my bicycle, and this review indicates my initial evaluation. As with any item I review, I will update this review in the event I find any aspects of concern. For now, though, I can definitely recommend them.Discussion:I live in southern Florida, where 4 things are guaranteed in the summer: Temperatures of 90 (F) or above, high humidity, blistering sunshine, and plenty of bugs. I run a couple of miles 3 or 4 times a week, and I do 15-mile roundtrip bike rides at least twice a week. There’s not much I can do about the heat and humidity, because during the peak of summer it’s muggy even at sunrise. But I can do something about the bugs and sunshine, and I’m pretty confident that the Haoteey neck gaiter will be a big part of the solution. The bike path in my area runs through wetlands that are home to countless millions of insects, some of which bite (mosquitoes and no-see-ums) and many of which are more of a nuisance than anything else. We have some sort of small gnat that are often present in schools that probably number in the thousands. When riding my bike through those areas I have to keep my mouth closed and my head tilted down so I don’t end up inhaling a bunch of them. Insect repellent is no solution when riding through a horde of gnats at 15 mph. That’s where these gaiters will come into play. I’ll be able to breathe normally without getting a bunch of gnats in my mouth or nose.Wearing the gaiter will also help me cut back the amount of sunblock I have to smear on my face and neck. I look forward to that benefit, believe me.Minor nitpick: One thing I’ll mention that doesn’t affect my rating for these gaiters, but it might be a consideration for some who are considering a purchase. Although the polyamide/spandex material is “breathable,” when I’ve worn the gaiter while running it feels warm and humid inside the part of the gaiter covering my face. If I’m riding my bike, though, the breeze helps to moderate that considerably, and if I wear the gaiter for taking a walk where I won’t be breathing hard it’s not a problem at all. Still, with or without a gaiter I’m going to get sweaty while running, so I’m not bothered by feeling a bit damp while running with it on.Overall, then, this is an item that I feel comfortable recommending.

I’ll be honest, I don’t really like these. The fabric is slick which personally I find uncomfortable and they have 3 very noticeable, itchy seams, but if seams and slinky fabric don’t bother you, they do seem well made and they have a lot of stretch. The fabric is a cooling type of fabric which I don’t like, but it might be good for a working outside or something like that. I use these to sleep because I need my ears covered when I’m sleeping, but I’m hard of hearing, so I can’t wear anything thick over my ears or else I wouldn’t be able to hear in an emergency. They’ll work okay because I don’t have a choice as I lose these like there’s no tomorrow and I’ve misplaced all of my favorite seamless ones.Yeah, the worst part is just the thick seams.

This four-pack of cooling neck gaiters comes vacuum sealed and the ends of the package are taped so be careful when opening the package as I had to use small scissors to carefully cut the tape and then I made a small cut into the packaging and then used my hands to open the package. Each cooling neck gaiter comes individually wrapped in easy-to-open clear packaging. They are tubular with no printing inside or any tags. There is one seam that goes from the top to the bottom on one side. The material isn't too stretchy but I had no problem getting it over my head to wear around my neck. I wear glasses and pulling part of this neck gaiter up over my nose didn't cause any fogging on my glasses once I readjusted my glasses. The best part about these is that they are very soft and comfortable to wear and the seam doesn't irritate my face or neck. This cooling neck gaiter is very breathable and I had no problems wearing it outside as I did yard work.In conclusion, the colors of these are nice (I got two black and two olive green), the material is soft and breathable, and they look good when worn as a face mask or just around the neck. Since these are tubular they can also be worn as a beanie hat, a do-rag, or a do-rag with an overhand knot tied at one end.
