Your cart is empty.* This corbel is intended to be installed BEFORE your countertop is installed. If your countertop is already installed, please see our collection of "Corbels for Pre-Installed Countertops." * CORBEL CONSTRUCTION. The corbel's "L" joint is glued and screwed with two #10 X 1 1/2" long wood screws. The corbel's "L" portion is 3/4" thick X 2" wide. The corbel's mounting plate is 3/4" thick X 2 1/2" wide. The corbel's brace is assembled with two #10 X 1 1/2" long wood screws also. Our straight and concave braces are 3/4" thick X 1 1/2" wide, except for the Model 17's braces, which are 1 3/4" wide. Our cove braces are 7/8" thick when viewed from the side and are 1 5/8" when viewed from the front.

I bought four of these brackets to hold up an 18" by 6' countertop at bar height that looks over to a large screen TV. These brackets are attractive, solidly built and easy to install. The countertop is very solid with these holding it up.

These are custom made by the merchant. We ordered three to support the granite countertops of a bar. The swept bracing is nice since it minimizes the likelihood of hitting your knee on the corbel. The corbels came well sanded and were consistent among the three we ordered. they included fasteners and directions and felt very solidly constructed. While we haven't had the countertops installed for long the corbels felt like they could easily support the weight (well within the load limits described in the product description. The design is very thoughtful. The corbel slides in/out of a keyhole style bracket on the mounting plate. This allows you to remove the corbel, mount the plate and then slide the corbel back in for a clean appearance with no exposed fasteners. One of the best parts is that I know I am supporting an small American company (4 people) that make their own products.

Beautiful - These corbels are so nice I did not want to paint them. In the end we did as it just made for a cleaner looks.I had a questions as to if these were appropriate for a granite counter top. I put a call into Tyler and he responded quickly and was very helpful. I really liked the fact that I was able to talk with the person who makes this product.Thanks Tyler - these corbels are a beautiful addition to my kitchen remodel.

These are far better quality than you'll find in a big box store, made in the U.S., and Tyler actually replied to my e-mail questions within minutes - on a Sunday. Used several of these in a kitchen reno project to hold the full weight of a stone countertop. I stained them to match the cabinets. They're strong and attractive. Couldn't be happier and would definitely purchase again.

A product so well engineered that it easily supported a heavy granite eating bar. The product is designed so that no screws or nails are visible when installed. The wood is so finely sanded that we applied stain without any other finishing. We needed fast turn around and they met our timing. They even supply the screws for installation.
