A precision instrument that can easily trim off as little as 2 or 3 thousandths of an inch to give a reed a new uniformed edge. Very adjustable and will work with all brands of reeds on the market.

I've been playing sax for over sixty years and this trimmer is a winner! It gives me a very even and clean cut of the reed tip. This product is very durable too! I would give it more stars, if possible!

It seems to be holding its edge but I did not use it for a very long time now I am but it does not seem to clip symmetrically. See photos. Maybe it’s just this one. I’m hoping there’s a way they can send me another to compare. If you look at the photographs above, you will see that the left side has a different shape and the right. Happens every time. The read is very centered in the clipper but does not solve the issue. It seems to do all of them This way. I think I have a bad one.

It does a perfect job clipping my clarinet reeds.I could clip an extremely small amount where I did not even notice an increase in the strength of the reed. It will probably double the life of my reed’s.

If you play on Vandoren V12's, this reed trimmer may not be for you because V12's are slightly wider than the opening of this trimmer.

Los cortes de la punta de la caña los ase bien , pero al mismo tiempo ase cortes a Los lado , lo en mi opinión no esta bien , por sea que la caña seaga muy dura para trabajar .
