Inside mounted shades will have a deduction taken of approximately 0.4" to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame.Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 3.5inch for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2.5inch please select outside mount.Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are often used when there is not sufficient frame depth for inside mounting.Our shades come with all mounting hardware, and mounting hardware for both inside mount and outside mount
INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:
Step 1.Measure the inside frame width at three locations-the top,middle,and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number deduct 1/4inch as your inside width when ordering.
Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-the left,middle,and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as your inside width when ordering.
OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:
Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 6-10inch to be the outside mount width.
Step 2. Measure the outside frame length adding 5-10inch to be the outside mount length. The overlap it recommended to allow appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps.

These are really pretty and well made shades. They arrived quickly (towards the tail end of the delivery window). The company reached out to me upon ordering to confirm size, and was even willing to adjust the pull cord placement, altering sides on the 2 ordered. They were professional and timely in communication. They fit my window perfectly and really help keep the light out. To me, they are reasonable priced comparative to others. If you’re on the fence on these, go ahead and go for it! Only problem is: now I want them in every room (ha!).

Here's what I liked about this Bamboo Roller Shade:- The company called to confirm the measurements. They were intelligent, polite and well informed.- The product arrived ahead of time, in perfect condition. It was well wrapped.- It was as described and pictured on the website. No surprises.- There was an instruction manual with clear English instructions.- The mounting hardware was included.- The fit was exactly what I ordered.- The beige vinyl backing turned out to be a very nice, soft cloth.- I was able to install it by myself. However, if you're not handy with home fixit stuff, you should have a second person to help lift it during install.My wife tested it, and agreed that it looks gorgeous. We found no loose threads or other flaws. The action is smooth.Being a rollup shade, you will have to deal with a long, dangling cord when the shade is full raised. The kit included a single cleat to secure the cord. I decided I needed two cleats spaced a couple of feet apart to wrap the cord around. So I bought a 2-pack of small cleats (2 1/2 inch cleats ) at the local big-box store.Yes, I would buy it again. We will probably buy several for the living room and 3rd bedroom.

I loved how they reached out to confirm measurements before creating the blinds. It needed to be altered. Once received these were just as ordered. Fit exactly, our door was more slender and longer than most.We have direct dum in the afternoon, and with the beige liner this is more than enough to block the light. Installation was super easy. The look of the hardware was much better than expected as well. We will be ordering more from here.

we ordered 5 sets of bamboo blinds from this vendor and have been VERY pleased.- we ordered pattern 5, we felts it was the simplest and cleanest look- roman style, right sided cord.- we did NOT ask for the blackout option, we intentionally wanted light to filter through so the photos show the option of blinds with NO blackout liner.- we gave measurements down to the 1/2 inch - the fit is IMPECCABLE.- the peacock blind we ordered for our dining room to try something different. Also wanted light filtering here so we opted for no blackout material to print on. also a great fit, just the top roller needs to be hidden somehow - it didn't have the option for "roman style" like the bamboo shades did. No regrets, its a beautiful print and a great piece of art to enjoy during dinner :)really love their customer service, super prompt and very specific. highly reccomend!

We've been looking for blinds for our French doors for years. I finally came across these lovely bamboo blinds and was surprised by the reasonable price for custom sizes. The vendor sent several messages to ensure I had measured the windows correctly and had considered all aspects of the installation before proceeding with the order, and sent follow-up messages to confirm we were pleased with the product. The blinds arrived securely packed, in perfect condition, with clear installation instructions and all the necessary hardware. They look great! Highly recommended vendor and product.

We shopped around for light blocking blinds at the popular home improvement stores. The cost factor was high. We narrowed our style to bamboo to match our trim. The cost was nearing $2000 for four custom blinds, we have two windows at 80.5 inches wide and we wanted one blind for each window. The cost was more than we were willing to spend, so we checked Amazon. Due to the window sizes we were limited to just a few companies. We found and liked Pattern 5 from ZY Blinds. Like with all on line sales you question the quality and workmanship. We took a chance and ordered one blind just to see. They responded the next day with emails and a day later they called just to make sure there was not a error in the measurements and style we picked. Within in two weeks the blind was delivered. The quality and workmanship was excellent. Very well constructed. The blind was very pretty and fit perfectly. I installed the blind myself, it was rather easy to do. We were very impressed so we ordered the other three blinds. Just like before they were perfect. The blinds had a better designed than the other home improvement stores we visited. The mechanism to roll up the blinds were smooth and hidden by a matching valance. The best part was the four blinds only cost $714. I would recommend ZYBlinds.

We love these blinds. They are perfect for our front kitchen windows. The seller, Cindy, confirmed the sizing via email after purchase and is clearly very skilled in her craft. After giving precise dimensions, she confirmed the inside mount would work for our windows. I almost switched to the outside mount and I’m so happy we didn’t! The blinds fit perfectly, were pretty easy to install and very good quality. The cords are super long, but easy to shorten.Do note- these are privacy screens, not a total blackout, but that’s why we love them. They are a sleek and subtle barrier for our street-facing windows.Plan to buy again for other rooms.
