My nephew is getting into power tools, and I wanted to start him off with a few that he can learn with. I'm gonna fess up here, I honestly was half expecting this to feel like a toy, it being only about twenty bucks. I was genuinely surprised at how heavy it was and the quality I got. It comes with just about everything my more expensive drill came with, minus a carrying case, and it has some surprising power to it. This probably wouldn't be my go-to on huge jobs, but it handles itself well for regular every day stuff. It does have very good torque.Does it compare to the name brands? In the long run, probably not. But this is absolutely worth it for around the house repairs and other work, and you might be surprised at how much you like it. And for first timers to drills, it's a great place to start.

I like using this "Tegatok Cordless Drill Set,12V Power Drill Set with Battery and Charger, Electric Driver Drills Bits" for assembling various small DIY assembly furniture and odd jobs as well as light duty around the home projects. Because this is a 12V drill, it's not especially powerful enough for very heavy duty projects but certainly more powerful than my cordless drill that I would often use for assembling pre-drilled wood items.I like how the battery's charge lasted weeks in between uses after the initial full charge, which is important to me as I don't necessarily need to use a drill or driver on a daily nor weekly basis. The drill has a hefty weight that seems fitting for it and is adjustable in torque, direction, etc--with all of the features I expect from a decent drill.I also like that this not only includes all of the basic accessories that come with most low to mid-range priced generic drills, but also has the flexible shaft that is extremely helpful in getting into tight spaces where I would otherwise be unable to drill. This shaft greatly increases the functionality and usefulness of the drill's capability of what I can fix or build, so I really like that.Since this set doesn't come with any sort of case, I ended up using a large (I think 8.5" by 11") plastic mesh zippered pouch which I already had on hand that holds the drill, battery, charger and accessories well. I like the performance, user-friendliness and the battery's ability to hold a charge for so long in between uses. For a lower to mid-range volt cordless drill and set, this is worth considering and comparing with other similar drills to decide what the best deal going is. For me, this was a good choice and I'm pleased with all that it does as well as the accessories. Thanks for reading.

the first one I received was defective and would not turn in either direction. Light came on and battery charged but would not spin. Requested a replacement and it arrived less than 48 hrs. later. the replacement works well. First, it's a $20 drill, so my expectations were set as such. Is it my Milwaukee M12 or DeWalt 12v Max tools I own? Not even close, but it does serve a handy purpose. This little drill has a good clutch on it which surprised me, and the variable trigger is accurate and very controllable. This is perfect for assembly required furniture you get on amazon or at Ikea. Also if you need to drill small holes in drywall for anchors and such. Will it drive an auger bit or hole saw? I am saying no unless they super small holes and you only need to do a couple at best. Battery last for a while as long as you are not pushing it to do big boy drill things. This is a couple of steps up from a cordless screw gun so for an occasional DIY'r, this would be a very handy little tool to keep in a draw for quick jobs that pop up around your place.

I'm rating this 4 stars for the price alone. This doesn't have the torque nor is it a brushless motor. This is a basic drill for light duty application. So far I've used it for my pool filter socket attachment. The lower torque on this means I don't have to worry about breaking the plastic on my filter, but it makes the job much faster. I also don't have to worry about it twisting my arm off. I wish there was a docking style charger rather than the little plug in for the battery.Ergonomically this isn't the most pleasant to work with. The handle is wide which means your hand likely won't wrap around it. It's also smooth so you don't have the best grip on it. The lower torque output ensures this isn't a problem though. If you're a homeowner or renter this is a good intro to power tools. It's cheap ~$20. Will handle most light duty tasks in walls, cabinets, or hanging things and comes with some drills and bits.

Every cordless drill I’ve had sits flush and easily on the bench or what surface I’m using. I haven’t forgotten how I’d lie my 30+ year old corded Makita on its side, but must of the jobs I do most jobs around the house with a cordless and I just assume I can drill, place it down, pick it up, drill, etc.I don’t really like the small roundish base that won’t come close to standing straight. There are flat ridges on the top of the drill that – almost – allow it to stand straight, but it’s not secure and can be easily knocked over.Aside from the ergonomics I would prefer a standard LiOn battery I can easily share with other tools.Overall though, I like the drill performance, plenty of torque for a cordless. The chuck doesn’t feel quite as solid as my Black and Decker cordless of a very similar shape, but it holds bits fine. The forward/lock/reverse push switch operates exactly the same as the B&D and the overall weight (very comfortable) is comparable.

Very happy with the power from this little 12v drill. The bits that it come with it are acceptable with the flexible extender I can get bolts I wasn’t able to even reach with Allen wrenches on my E-Bike!
