We have an in-ground spa attached to our main pool, but our sweeper can’t function in that, so the spa is more of a challenge to keep clean. Since that’s always going to be a manual process, I decided to give this vac a try. It assembles quickly and simple. The included handle and 5ft extendable pole doesn’t work for me, so I have no need for those. There are two filter types included, one general purpose and the other having a very dense mesh which is better at capturing fine dirt and silt. It also has an indicator light displaying remaining battery charge and flashes red if the filter bag gets blocked. Submerged and operating, the vac is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The motor and suction were surprisingly robust and allows for quick cleaning. One operational note: Vacuumed material can escape from the unit as it is removed from the water, but leaving the power on and pulling it out at an angle seems to lessen debris escape. It occurred to me that sliding the vac into a bucket while in the pool, then removing both, may minimize or even eliminate debris release back into the pool, I’m going to try that soon with a 5-gallon handled bucket. About cleaning the filters: Fine debris gets trapped between the filter mesh bag where it folds over the frame. So you either have to run the bag under a faucet at a pretty good clip to wash that out, or submerge the filter in a bucket of water, gently pull the filter mesh away from the frame, and the particles will release. Either method takes a little trial and error, but it doesn’t take long to get that procedure down pat. Reassembling the unit after drying out can be a little challenging in lining up the filter tabs, the side handle swivels, and the handle itself, to get it properly mounted and snap close, so some patience and caution may be required, be sure not to force anything, because it is all plastic. I did contact the company regarding future replacement filters, and they responded quickly, stating they will be made available for sale on Amazon in the May-June 2025 timeframe. The long-term viability and durability of both the unit’s motor and battery are, of course, unknown. But I am highly impressed with the build quality and functionality, and am looking forward to using it extensively in the coming pool season. So for now, I highly recommend this vac.

I have a small (12k gal) in-ground pool. It has a screened enclosure, so I don't have leaves and the like to worry about. Mostly there is just wind-blown dirt. The pool's surface needs to be redone, so there is also small granules from the degrading surface. With the fine nature of the debris, I'm using the finer mesh bags. I'm glad there is a choice of bags provided. Even with the fine mesh though, I can still see small clouds of "dust" escape from the vacuum's exit on occasion. Then a few hours after cleaning I can see where some of this "dust" settles out of the bottom; it is minor amount but it doesn't happen when I vacuum normally circulating through my pool pump/filter.The provided extension handle is not as long as I need it to be. The product description does have a photo showing the max length as 7.3ft (I just didn't notice this). At the deep end, my pool is 6ft, which I think is pretty common for in-ground pools. So this leaves only about 1 foot extending above the waterline. Fortunately the vacuum mfg chose to use a standard pool-type attachment for their handle, this allowed me to use my old pool brush extension handle instead. When removing the mesh bag to clean it, things are a bit awkward. The vacuum unit does hold a fair amount of water which needs to be drained out prior to opening the bag's cover. It just takes longer to do this than I'd like; I guess I'm impatient. The bottom section of the vacuum (which contacts the pool surface) is made of hard plastic. After just 2 uses, I can already see some wear in spots. I think this bottom piece should have been made of the more flexible material you often see used for manual pool vacuums. The wear is likely occurring when I vacuum the pool's curved bottom edges. The charge indicator light on the vacuum does not come on during charging (after reading the instructions, I thought it would), it only turns green when the unit is powered on. Maybe I misinterpreted the instructions. Just use the indicator light that's on the charging adapter, as it correctly indicates the charging status. In all, I think this works decently, but it could be better. This might be better for "quick cleaning" and not routine use.

This has to be one of the best products I ever received for my swim spa! My swim spa is a pain to keep clean because it has a textured bottom that has wavy ridges that seem to collect debris that are a pain to remove. I generally have to get into the spa and kick it up to get the dirt out of those dips and valleys so I was looking for a product that was lightweight and could make my cleaning job easier. I was skeptical when I got this product but my attitude completely changed when I saw how much effort was expended to include attachments and quality vacuum suction to make my cleaning a breeze. I charged the unit in my house for a day and took to the spa to clean the dirt. Suction was great and fully capable to get the dirt that had settled in the textured grooves with minimal effort. the attach pole extended to the perfect length to vacuum the entire floor and once I was done, I could transition to the scrub brush to remove any algae that was stuck to the side. The vacuum has several collection baskets so you can easily swap them out for a larger pool cleaning. I really love this product and I am thrilled that my bottom debris removal is cleaned up with a few vacuum passes that minutes. Highly recommend this product for swim spa maintanence!!
