The tool itself feels very sturdy and is perfect for Dewalt batteries. The suction cups are made of thick rubber pads (about 1/3 inch thick) about 5.75 inches wide all around, and the rubber is pressed against an alloy metal backing that creates a strong suction even during vibration.
