This guitar plays and sounds amazing unplugged and plugged in.There was too much relief in the neck when I got it, which lead to me finding that the truss rod cover is not friendly. You have to remove the 2 middle strings from the nut and pull them towards the edges to be able to get it out. The actual cover sits down inside a small recess which makes the strings push it back down inside. The following is based on personal preference I've developed over almost 30 years as a guitarist.I feel the break angle of the neck is slightly too far forward, compared to my other guitars. This makes the relief hard to set right. Also, the bridge is taller than I think it needs to be, creating a high action from around the 10th fret to the body. I feel this is ideal for some people's preference who are using it strictly as a classical guitar. However, as someone who plays a lot of lead electric guitar I would like it a bit lower. With that being said this does not negatively impact the playability as much as I thought it would when I first seen it.After setting up the guitar the best I could it plays amazing, it's lightweight, and is one of my favorite guitars that I own now.

When I was in the market for a solid body nylon string guitar I came across this one and I tried it. The instant I played it I fell in love with it. I like that it is light weight and comfortable to play. The electronics are right on "T" for sound and plug abilities. The fact that you can blend the body sensors with the piezo pickup and equalizer nob just dials in the right amount of eq for a good sounding of tone. It is good for flamenco and requinto playing as well as classic guitar styles. It can play jazz styles like earl clough. Also the fact that it comes with a case makes it all the better to take to the gig and play comfortable all night. If you are in the market for a semi-hollow nylon string guitar that is affordable then look no further than this guitar. Get one before the price goes up and then it will be to late to own one at an affordable price.

Love how it sounds and plays, although there is a lot of space between frets on the fretboard which may be a turn off for some people

Portable, durable construction, nice styling/ornamentation. Convenient strap buttons. Action and playing feel is pretty much identical to the GK Studio Negra. 2 drawbacks: 1.) weak bass tone 2.) minimal projection. Most thin body guitars play decent unplugged. This one is barely heard. Overall, great if you have to save space and a little $.
