Your cart is empty.These 70mL PYREX culture tubes are supplied with deep-form 24-410 GPI threaded phenolic caps to facilitate handling and sealing after autoclaving. Caps are fabricated from a special formula resistant to the effects of temperature and steam in autoclaving and are provided with a Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) interface firmly bonded to the glued-in rubber liner, providing a sure and highly inert sealing face. The white enamel marking spot gives an excellent surface for pencil notations. Pencil marks are easily erased. For replacement phenolic caps, see No. 9998.

These tubes are excellent quality thick borosilicate glass and have 70ml capacity, as stated. We currently use most of them for powder mixing and storage. We have also stored liquids without leakage. Pictured is about 50 grams of various powders in each 9826-25X tube. The stands are 1” EVA floor mat cuttings with 1” holes poked out for each tube. These tubes wash well in a dishwasher, both tubes and caps. We absolutely love these Pyrex 25mm x 200mm culture tubes. The 9826-25 tubes are nice at 25mm x 150mm, as well. Furthermore, they fit well into cigar cases. Thomas Scientific has been excellent with communication. We will definitely buy again from this seller.Update 1/3/2025: I just noticed these tubes are slightly thicker glass and have thicker caps than our older tubes. Still within specs, just really nice.
