I was researching a ton of keyboard options and I finally pulled the trigger on this K70 Pro TKL and I am more than satisfied! I have had the original K70 for over a decade so I was really in need of an upgrade! My original k70 still works and feels good but I wanted a refresh plus the HE abilities for competitive FPS. This keyboard is AMAZING. It has a fantastic, high end feel. When you type, it is like butter on your fingers. Just feels GOOD. The sound dampening works great, keyboard is really quiet. iCUE isn't the easiest software to use honestly and never has been but I haven't had too hard of a time setting the keyboard up. What helped me is to search for pros that use an HE keyboard and check their settings on their HE keyboard, match them and then adjust to your liking. Helped me start with a good base to go off of since this is my first HE keyboard. Overall, if you are looking for a fantastic HE keyboard at an amazing price, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed in this!

I really wanted to like this keyboard... Feels well built, key presses feel satisfying and the knob feels good to turn. However straight out of the box the keyboard had an issue with registering double key presses. This seems to be a well-known issue with corsair keyboards - just google "Corsair K70 double typing".After emailing corsair support, they replied with a long list of things to try, all of which did not fix the issue. I'm sure my experience with this keyboard is not going to represent the majority, however just know that there is a chance you will receive a defective product like I did.

This thing is like typing on silk. The game mode button is Soo nice.. Automatically setting it at the highest response rate. And the sound this makes is very low, not sharp or loud. But so satisfying. The extra features of this keyboard are really great. Being able to set the depth at wich the keys respond and reset. Pretty game changing the colors look really good. And for me personally the wrist rest is really comfortable. I got this on sale for like 140. It was a lot more than I was going to spend on a keyboard but I’m glad I did it. And would do it again also icue is a little complicated, but in a very good way. It can do anything you can think of or imagine. So yes there’s a learning curve. But the sky is the limit on keybindings and behaviors

This keyboard is fast, smooth, and well-built, but let’s talk about the real issue... no numpad. If you’re just gaming, sure, it’s great. But try entering numbers without a numpad and tell me how much fun that is. Oh, what’s that? You’re tabbing between the number row and arrow keys like some kind of peasant? Yeah, welcome to the club. That said, for a travel-friendly, high-performance keyboard, this thing is top-notch. The adjustable switches feel great, the build quality is solid, and the volume wheel while I thought it was meh actually I find myself using consistently. But Corsair, let’s be real… we know you could’ve squeezed in a detachable numpad. Maybe in the K70 Pro XL TKL Ultimate RGB MAX Edition or whatever name you come up with next.

The keyboard is fast, snappy, and smooth to use. If you are familiar with icue and the Corsair ecosystem you will have no issues with this keyboard.

I have dabbled into trying magnetic keyboards to see how I would like them. An expensive endeavor, for sure, but worth it. I have the following HE / Magnetic boards:ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFXMADE68 ProEWEADN Battle68IROK MU68EPOMAKER HE75GK GAMAKAY TK68 HEOut of all of them, the only ones that stood out the best was the Corsair K70 Pro TKL and ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX. See they have to fit specific characteristics for me. For gaming easy enabling SOCD and Rapid Trigger. Both of those keyboards do that with no problem. The ASUS ROG even more so than the Corsair, but I am not much of an iCUE hater as some; probably because I have built my whole gaming arsenal around Corsair, so I have learned to tolerate the pain (cries on the inside :D).Additionally, the other characteristic is the typing sound and feel. This and the ASUS ROG have this in bunches. Both come pre-lubed and have a great creamy and thocky sound to it. I require this because from my keyboards. Plus these keyboards meet my gaming and productivity needs, as some of my builds are used for work and play. This keyboard matches those requirements.I was not sure if I needed another Corsair keyboard as I have entirely too many as it is, but this was about as perfect for my requirements.Currently playing Delta Force and Call of Duty for my FPS needs and this keyboard is perfect for that. Quick and responsive! This is a blast to game on. If you're on the fence, jump off and take plunge. Corsair nailed it on this one!

TL;DR -PRO: Great key sound and feel (wanted something more muted), Adjustable actuation, ROTARY volume! (their older scroll wheel ones tend to fail really easily due to dust and debris getting in the sensor), comes with wrist wrest/pad. VERY responsive. Overall build is super solid (i.e not plasticky or cheap feeling). Detachable USB-C to USB-A cable. Grippy underside makes sure your kb won't slide around.CONS: The magnets on the wristpad NEEDS TO BE STRONGER. No one needs a dedicated turbo or icue button, give back the dedicated media controls! Not really that bad but I wish it came with dual height adjustment feet. Flat feels off and when it's raised, it feels like it could use just a tiny bit more height.Full disclosure: I was coming from a Steel Series Apex 7 TKL OLED w/ Blue Clicky Tactile keys so I am mostly comparing my experience with that.

I've owned over 7 mechanical keyboards over the past 15yrs, premium to budget. This is by far the smoothest & most pleasant board I've bought & use out of the box, still havent installed iCUE 1 month in because ive had no need. Definitely worth the 199$ CAD.
