Fast SSD BUT it seems to have issues loading games... Games tend to load more slowly then my 990 evo plus... which is a slower drive. Crystaldisk does show it running at advertised speeds though and it is in a the right slot in my motherboard. I honestly have no idea why its worse at loading games then my other SSD drives.

Not the fastest drive out there, but the fastest at this price point. Put it in a PCIe 5.0 nvme slot and did a fresh operating system install. It's about twice as fast as my previous PCIe 4.0 drive.

This thing runs like it's on fire, both Fast & Hot.The performance is outstanding, great storage, and easy to install.Not going to lie, I was dumping large video files back and forth this just to watch the rather impressive transfer rate.I have this in a JEYI PCIe 5.0 4X to M.2 NVMe Adapter, this combo keeps it cool and running as fast as it will go.It will show higher idle temps than "normal" M2 cards, roughly 12 degrees, I used 4 different M2 coolers and they all were all the same temp watching the desktop dry (JEYI copper tall - short and Alum). That made me buy the JEYI card, as I have JEYI M2 coolers on all 6 of my PCs with no issues.... it just likes it hot...

Best budget Gen5 SSD right now that is especially usable in warmer and hotter climates (30 degrees C ambient in my location) but keep in mind that this is DRAM-less so people who value that should opt for Samsung 990 PRO, otherwise for those who value raw read/write speed should buy this.

My boot up time is within 3-4 seconds until I’m able to open other programs, this thing is insanely fast for windows! My heat readings haven’t gone above 48°C so far with a thermal pad included with my motherboard. A bit more expensive than gen 4, but it does seem worth it so far.

Solid choice and at an average price, only thing I would do differently is not go with a heatsink. Most motherboards that support gen 5 nvmes already come with one so now I’m stuck with one.

I'm using the Corsair mp700 Elite NVMe SSD with my ROG STRIX Z690-E GAMING WIFI motherboard, and it's really fast and smooth using Gen 5 M2-1 slot. Picture 1 is read/write results and picture 2 is realworld testing. I use this SSD as my OS drive and it's great. Reliability will be monitored further down the road.

Unfortunately this SSD can not get PCIe 5.0 speed. Some other SSD PCIe 4 can be even quicker :(

The Corsair MP700 Elite is an absolute beast of an SSD. I installed the 1TB version in my new PCIe 5.0 build, and the speed jump is immediately noticeable. With read speeds up to 10,000 MB/s, everything from boot times to game loading and file transfers feels instant. It’s seriously fast and handles large workloads like a champ.Installation was super straightforward, and it fits perfectly in the M.2 slot with no clearance issues. Temps are manageable with decent airflow, but I’d recommend using a heatsink for optimal performance during heavy use.If you’re building a next-gen system or just want to future-proof your storage, this drive is absolutely worth it. Corsair knocked it out of the park again!
