I put it in my bath tub with a mat under it so it won't move. It works great. I love that I can rinse as many times as I want. My clothes are cleaner, softer then when washed in a large washer. I control the actual temperature & delicate setting. It is lightweight very quiet. The spin dry works really good the clothes come out almost dry to the touch. I can put more in than I thought I would be able to.

This review is for the Mini Portable Compact Twin Tub 16lbs washing machine. I was planning to lift the washing machine and put it on my bathtub, but it is heavier than I expected, so I putted the machine on a flat dolly roller with wheels and now I have no problems moving it around. And the little filter box does not seem to work.I like my machine; it does a good job so far.

Smaller than I thought, lighter than I imagined (I'm 5'6 and I can carry this thing myself) and more power than you'd think. It does take quite a bit of time to wash a small basket of clothes. Took me 6 hours, 1 hr per load. You can only wash maybe 3 pairs of jeans (depending on size) at a time. I haven't tried to wash bath towels yet. The spin side is small, only one pair of jeans can fit in it. Towels may be too heavy to spin. But it will spin your clothes pretty dry. Very impressive. On YouTube there are videos of people living in tiny homes and in one, 15 gallons of water was used to wash. I'm not sure what the standard full size washer uses, but 15 gallons seemed like a lot. I live in an apartment, so I don't pay for the water usage only electricity. So I can't say, for now, how much of a money saver this is. I will say, I would get $100 in quarters to use the communal washer/dryer area a month. Hoping this will cost less.I use the washer in my bath tub. Because of the vibration of the spin cycle, I've had to place the washer on a towel to prevent it from sliding in the tub. The washer is fairly quiet when in use, but you can still hear it. You should be able to do a load of laundry without interrupting one's sleep if you needed to. Especially if it's in a bathroom and you can close the door. The draining is souly based on gravity. So make sure the draining tube is low enough to drain the water properly. Once I'm finished, I keep the doors open to allow the unit to dry once it has completely drained. Also, clean the tub floor when you're done doing laundry. It will be very slippery for the next person taking a shower. Let's not fall, shall we?If you have a big and tall enough cabinet, you can possibly fit this thing right in it. I have mine in a bedroom closet. Takes up no more room than one large peice of luggage.

Great little machine that works hard! It fits in my RV shower for storage and is light enough for me to lift right out without stress. I've used it a few times already and love it! No longer will it be an issue for me to find a place to wash my clothes while holidaying. Who wants to sit in a laundromat on holidays? The spin dryer does actually spin it nearly dry. I have an attachable clothes dryer on the outside of my RV and it's perfect with this little powerhouse!

I have purchased TWO of these; one for me and then one for my brother a little later on. For convenience, affordability, and a good fit in a small apartment, this is a wonderful choice. This machine is lightweight; it can be moved and stored easily, and it cleans clothes better than my standard machine. The drawbacks are, for best results only run small loads, it won't accommodate huge items like king-size comforters or quilts, and it does not have a built-in lint trap collection system. However, there are some very inexpensive lint collectors (a couple of dollars) that you just toss in with each wash load that float around on the surface and collect amazing amounts of lint, so that problem is solved. Now that I have owned this machine, I doubt I will ever go back to a standard size (and weight) machine again; this is just too convenient and massively more affordable. ***111

I decided to get this Costway Mini Portable Compact washer because i don't have a set up inside my place for a regular washer, the previous owners liked to wash outside so everything was set up outside. One day the crazy winds blew away my shed and almost everything in it. I couldn't bring myself to purchase anything else that had to be outside. I wanted something i could keep inside, and wouldn't require so much space. Well, here we are, from the first second i saw it i felt pure happiness. It arrived in a brown box that says Costway on it, For those who wonder of the discretion, the UPS driver asked me if i had ordered a stroller. When i opened it i looked at the manual, but it was so poorly written, almost as if they had translated it from another language to english. It was very hard to understand. The machine itself was so small and cute. Right out of the box it was ready to play. It came with the attatchment water hose, although when i got it i figured that if i added water into it manually it would be a lot faster, honestly i was just over working myself because It easily connected to my bathroom sink and it doesn't even take long to fill. I did have to lift it to drain it because the drain has to be flat or pointing down in order to let the water drain. (I ordered an extension drain for more convenience, don't know yet if it will make a difference) ... The most surprising part so far is the spin dry. It looks small but stuff actually fits. I wasn't sure i was going to like it because it honestly looks so small. But it works great. I do have some concern with it tho. When i got it i inspected everything and there was like a bunch of yellowy glue (im assuming) in the compartment where the spin dry drain is at. Idk if it is normal, i figured it couldn't be too bad, since the clothes wouldn't be touching it anyways. Also, sometimes the spin dry shakes the whole machine if it isn't sitting properly. Idk i still like it tho. So far i am in love with this little machine. It is convenient and small enough to store away when not needed. And its not heavy so its easy to just move around when you need it. Its perfect for washing sheets, and doing small loads. I have watched all the loads i have done with it and I'm sure i wont have to babysit it while its washing. I'm giving 4 stars just because the manual was hard to understand and because I'm not sure why there was so much glue.
