Step 1: plug in the power cord and add the ice cubes. Step 2: press the waterproof switch. Step 3: put down the handle. Step 4: take out the shaved ice.

This ice shaver is as described, working fine and produces snow ice ,ready to use after from the box . Not too noisy , the size perfect fit my counter . We use it for snow cones and we have lots fun .great value
