Bought two of these for weekly walk my daughter and I do with her twin 18 month olds. We do a 3 1/2 mile loop of town sidewalks and rough patch stuff around a reservoir in a 1 hour walk as a point of reference. Lots of mixed and incorrect info in the reviews. Glad I ignored the negative folks - some saying wheels pop off. The only way that is going to happen is with incorrect assembly or jamming the wheel release lever open (which would be very hard to do). Others noted the lack of assembly directions were a problem. OK - I will say a single picture which just goes in A - Z order of what to do might not be perfect for a first time to assemble anything person but there wasn't much question of what went where and it all fit snugly and consistently. Rubber wheels are not pneumatic, but roll smoothly and quietly. Another said the child controlled the steering - not true. The handlebars in the back are connected to the same steering system as the handlebars so both turn together. If the youngster is stronger than the driver and yanks hard, I suppose it could seem like the handlebars did the steering, but that seems pretty ridiculous. We did find the foot rests to be a bit short when it comes to fully blocking access to the pedals, not enough of an issue to create a problem. A niece with a 2 1/2 year old saw these, gave her daughter a try on one and immediately placed an order for her own. Frame and wheels are heavy duty and seem like they will last for a long time. Sun bonnet frame is a tad flimsy, but seems like it will hold up for as long as needed. Folding function is easy - although with handlebars down I didn't even need to fold in the back wheels to fit two in the back of a 4Runner. The sun bonnet needed to be pulled out (easy to do) due to height, but slides right back in for reassembly. Seat fabric was a bit slippery since the twins have been wearing snowsuits in our uses, but with the straps and bars they weren't going anywhere. Very happy with purchase.

So far so good! We’ve only had this about a week and It feels really sturdy and well made, the wheels are strong and ride smoothly and it folds up a bit so it fits in the trunk better. I like the waist bar bc it’s easy to snap together or take apart and fold back if you don’t want to use it. I think it comes off too we just haven’t tried it yet. The other reviewers are right about the seat pad not staying put but I’m just going to get some Velcro to attach it to the seat better, my son doesn’t mind just sitting on the seat the way it is. The only thing that kind of stinks is that the foot rest is for kids with shorter legs I think, my sons feet don’t reach the pedals yet but it’s a tight squeeze for him to bend his legs and put his feet up to rest. He’s almost 2 and average height but it won’t be a problem bc he’ll be able to reach the pedals soon enough. So far we’re loving this bike!

Love this tricycle! My husband and I bought this for our son’s first birthday. He really enjoys going on walks in this. His feet don’t touch the pedals yet (he’s on the tall side, 32”), but he likes to hang them beside the foot rest.Assembly was relatively easy. As other reviewers mentioned, if you’ve assembled anything from IKEA, you can handle this tricycle. I will mention, though, that the folding mechanism for the parental steering column had me a bit stumped. Quite the face palm moment when I figured it out (you press the large white buttons on the side at the same time to disengage the lock). Aside from that, assembly was easy. The tricycle itself is super sturdy and appears to be something that will stand the test of time. It’s got a solid frame and is not flimsy in any way. The tires are awesome! They are true rubber tires that can handle any terrain. The seat isn’t really adjustable, but we don’t plan on using it for such extended periods of time that we’d require that feature. The canopy is ok. I wish it went down slightly lower, but it’s not a deal breaker. Steering is easy. I haven’t found it listing to one side or anything. Just be careful turning as tight turns can make the tricycle tilt and, potentially, fall over.Overall, I am super pleased with this purchase. I imagine my son will have years of enjoyment with It!If you found this review helpful, please let Amazon know by selecting the button below. 🙂

We all absolutely love it!After doing a TON of research on baby trikes, I stopped on this one, and so happy I did. It was a birthday gift for our son. It’s the ONLY trike with shock absorption I was able to find that doesn’t cost $450.We wanted to start taking our one year old on hiking trails in local parks. Our stroller wasn’t doing a great job off the pavement...We live in NorthEast, and there are a lot of rocks in the paths.I was considering buying Doona trike which has very modern design, lightweight and sleek ($250). It’s great if you live in the city. We tested our friend’s Doona trike, and while it’s easier to fold and transport, the T shape handle is too flimsy and wheels aren’t designed for rough roads. This trike performs SOOO well over tree roots, rocks on bumpy roads or sand, on a lawn, and of course on pavement. Wheels are made out of VERY thick rubber, you don’t need to inflate them. The ride is smooth and baby loooooves it!It’s very comfortable to navigate, the U shape of the handle allows to maneuver the trike way better over bumps or on turns, than T shape handle. I’m 5”10 and love the long handle, which can also be slightly folded if you are shorter. The only drawback is that it’s quite heavy and not exactly easy to fold. You need to detach the sunroof first if you are using it, fold the handle, then press little red button to fold back wheels. I found its easier to do last step when it’s already in your car trunk. But also if it wasn’t for the extra weight, it wouldn’t be as sturdy and safe, especially on hiking trails or sand.Overall it’s an EXCELLENT trike for a fair price that your child can grow into!
