These receiving blankets are larger than standard receiving blankets (10 inches longer in length compared to 30”x30” blankets). The blankets were a little stiff out of the package, but softened up after a wash. There were only a few loose strings on the edge of a couple of blankets after washing, which were easily trimmed. The blankets are bright and colorful. The patterns are adorable, especially the toucan!
