Mop threads are not as long as most on the market but I like it shorter. Easier to maneuver and wash out.

I purchased the string mop heads. When I received the package of two I was disappointed. I wasn't expecting them to be short and stubby like they were. The strands were short and certainly not straight but were shaped into loops and were annoying trying to wring the water out. I've been used to separating the strands into sections enabling me to get more water out after rinsing the head. I felt that there was more to be released instead of having to do it a few more times than I needed or wanted. I didn't want to be putting the mop back on the floor still so wet and taking too long for the floors to dry before being able to walk on. I think I'll keep looking and hoping to find something more suitable than these.

Just received them the other day, haven't used one yet but did check and they do fit my handle, glad of that. This is my favorite type of mop, been using these for decades.

I purchased these because they have the standard 3/4 inch U.S. thread for the handle, which I happen to have a couple extra.Good quality, easy to ring out by hand, fast clean-up.
