As advertised, I received 57 skeins in total, 19 colors with 3 skeins each. 2 variegated colors, 1 black, 1 white, 2 shades each of blue, green, red, and gold, 1 darkish antique copper color, 1 bright copper color, and 1 each of purple, cream, pink, a greyish or 'metallic' silver (best way I can think of to describe it) and a bright silver. Each is multiple strands to the thread so you can split them as needed depending on what you are making. As with any metallic thread, as someone else noted, you will have better results if you don't try to use really long lengths to sew with, and particularly important, don't rush. Be patient with the thread, they do tend to try to twist as you sew, and if your thread length is too long it will fray or weaken the thread causing breakage or tangles.

This is a nice alternative to the more expensive DMC thread, I used this for needlepoint and it was nice to work with!
