This lifter does work and seems to be made well. It was not easy to install and I would not do it again. Overall we were not greatly impressed but it does do the job!!!

This hot tub cover lift was easy to install! It tells you how much space you need to have it in a fully in the up position/ angled open. I had to measure a few times and marked the spot it needed to be with tape. It was easy to drill into the cabinet of my hot tub. It is good quality metal and plastic. I did have some of the paint chipping off the metal when I put the arms thru the connector. It works as intended and helps to keep my lid closed when not in use and off the ground when in use. My hot tub is thinner on the width then most so I have a slight overlap for the lift bar. I have to slide my cover than lift but I don't think it is a big deal. It is a bit on the expensive side but worth it if you need help lifting the cover or just want it to have it off the ground when in use.
