The first thing you need to know about the Voikm Cowboy Hat Box, Hard Hat Carrier Case is that this is absolutely not a cowboy hat box. If you’re hoping to store an actual cowboy hat, look elsewhere—unless it’s for a dollhouse cowboy hat. The advertisement here is completely misleading.That said, I bought this for my regular hats to keep them dust-free, since I don’t have space for hat hangers. If you don’t own too many hats (I don’t), this is a viable option at a great price. For $20, it meets my needs perfectly, holding about 8–9 hats depending on their size.The case is designed for travel, featuring a carrying strap and breathable holes (because hats need air too—someone might report you for hat abuse otherwise!). However, the material isn’t weather-resistant at all. It will absorb water like a sponge, and those ventilation holes will let rain in, so avoid wet conditions entirely.For home use, it’s ideal. It keeps my hats protected from dust, and the added design features, like rubber grips on the handle and zippers, are a nice touch—something you don’t typically see in this price range. It even comes with a hat hanger for wall storage, though it doesn’t include adhesive and doesn’t feel sturdy enough to hold the case when full. You’d need to drill holes to secure it properly.Overall, if your situation is similar to mine—few hats, no need for travel—it’s a great purchase. But for anything beyond that, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Not sure why the first word in the title says Cowboy hats? As a cowboy hat would definitely not fit inside of one of these cases. The case does fit a couple of regular baseball hats, on top of each other. The way the top closes, there would be no way for any other type of hat to fit inside. Maybe an ivy hat or something like that, but definitely not anything wider or much taller than your regular baseball cap.The build quality is similar to like a hard drive case type thing. There is a solid exterior to the case, so your hats will not get all bent up when you stick the case in a suitcase or bag. The overall case is slightly larger than it may appear in the pictures, at least that is how it seemed to me. Just make sure to check that your hats fit inside before the return window closes though. It does seem to provide decent protection for traveling.
