It can get the job done on the dash. Used in my 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn. Sharp turns the har will slide a good bit. You have to suction it a bit high or hats will slide a lot. I’ll will use these to hang hats on doors and get a hat rack for the back of the seat in my truck.

The rope is limp and soft. Doesn't hold shape. I thought it was stiff like a lariat. I fixed it myself. At least I got the suction cup brackets out of the deal.

Once I finally got it adjusted to be a bit more snug, it works like a charm. It was between this product and a hat rat for the back seat. Thus product felt way more secure after adjustments. The 2 pack is nice also

It holds my husband cowboy hats. He loved it because no one has to hold his hat.
