Have purchased this item a number of times over the years and have found them to be good night-time protectionby their presence and outside one's home. Having sunny days is a factor in their ability to run for extended times and they stand up well to rain or in wet weather. A good purchase and sun is a factor to their ability to complete their functions during nocturnal hours

I can't be 100% sure these units are working as the only deterrent for my garden. The critters that haunt my garden are nocturnal and do their pilfering during bedtime hours and I'm not awake to witness the action. But, what I can say is after a nice day of soaking in solar rays, the unit lights definitely come on strong and flash as advertised. Also, during the times that I am awake during the wee hours, I notice the units are still flashing warning lights several hours later at whatever may be lurking within range.It was easy to attach the units to my garden fence with short zip ties but nails can be used to attach the units as well.I use a combination of deterrents in addition to these units, which I believe are all working to keep critters out of my garden.It's been almost a couple of months and the units are still going strong. I recommend these units along with other measures to discourage unwanted critter activity.

Bought 4 of these last year to protect my veritable garden from Deer and Raccoons. I was tired to trying to keep deer out with fences that had to be put up and taken down each year. Live in the county and lots of deer nearby. They would ruing the garden in one night. Bought 4 of these and pointed one in each directions. They worked all season long. Frankly I was surprised how well they did work. Last fall I packed them up and put them on the self once the garden was done. Took them out this spring and let them charge in the sun for a day. For some reason one did not work. Contacted the company through the website with an email. They got back to me and since I under one year warranty they replace the defective one in one a couple days. Great service. I have had them out in the garden since April protecting my lettuce beds. Thus far they have worked just like last year in keeping deer and raccoons away. I highly recommend them. They have worked great for protecting my garden. Just follow the instructions and place them as needed. No problems with deer last year and so far none this year. I highly recommend product and great service from the company if you have a problem with one of the Items. Very pleased. Having them over a year gives me confidence in giving a good review.

These are fine if you are looking to light up a tiny garden. These are tiny and flimsly and one didnt work the other flashed all night.

Turns on at dusk and turns off at dawn, smart critters figure that at over time so be sure chickens are secure as dawn to sunup is vulnerable as the lights turn offThey work well and are strong with solar panel. mount easily to corners of chicken house with a nail or screw (not included).Make sure you don't obstruct their lights so they can be seen from very far away.Great instructons included on to what height is best for the predator you are trying to deter. Raccoons 1ft, larger animals higher. Does not work with rats.
