Just arrived and is super light and easy to swing. Quality seems very iffy and I doubt it will withstand the typical beatings I give my tambourines. However, should deliver a nice sound at acoustic shows where I tend to be more gentle.

Exactly what I was looking for. It is inexpensive and sounds pretty good and will work well with drumming circles and with kids. The 10 inch tambourine is a lot better than the 8 inch.

This tambourine was purchased for my five year old for Christmas. It is a little large for her but she wanted a "big girl" instrument - NOT a baby sized object. The tapered handle does allow her to hold it well, however, the sound quality is that of a toy and not an actual instrument worth listening to. Did not allow her to bring to church as it is so tinny. Great for her to play at home.

This tambourine is by far the best tambourine that i have used! for the price the tambourine it is not made from cheap wood! I really recommend this tambourine
