I have now had a road ride and MTB ride in these and love 'em. The chamois is a bit on the thicker side but very comfortable. Found it to be more comfortable with my minimalist MTB saddle but fine with the softer road saddle. I like the security of the actual waistband and the gripper. leg bands. Fabric has the right combination of compression. I'm 5'8" , 130 lbs and Medium works well.

I like Craft products, in my experience their cycling gear tends to run racy/aero (which is fine), so I bought these in a size large just in case. I'm between a M and L, and I'm also taller (5'10") so I prefer cycling shorts with longer inseams. These fit the bill, they're maybe 9 inches. In general, they're "okay" shorts. I've done a few outdoor rides in them but have relegated them to my pile of "not ready for prime time riding" shorts that I use only on my indoor trainer rides. The chamois is the thinnest of any shorts I own, and it isn't sewn in/attached to the shorts except on the outside edges of the pad. The center of the chamois isn't sewn down, it kind of floats around a little as a result. Hard to explain. The fabric isn't all that compressive, it borders on "thin" in terms of the fabric weight, but the flat seams are well done and...again...they're a bit longer than other shorts out there. So. Three stars.

Erst war ich sehr begeistert, leichter Stoff, passt gut und eben von Craft. Eigentlich sollte der Preis die Qualität gerechtfertigen.Jetzt nach 2 1/2 Monaten und ca. 1000 Radkilometer ist der Stoff kaputt und ein Loch in der Hose.Schade aber so ist die Hose nicht mehr zu gebrauchen.

I liked these shorts, and through the hips and legs they fit well. But the waist came down in back when I bent over on the bike, and was obviously too large for my waist. I am 5'2" and not long waisted, so I suspect it's my weight affecting the fit. Great short, nice smooth and soft chamois, great leg grippers, but not built for my body. I returned.
