This kit is definitely what I needed for my Cricut. Although I wished the scissors were a tad bit sharper. Other than that, no major complaints

I was gifted a circuit joy for Christmas and the first picture is the cut I made when setting up the machine. I didn't have a single tool at that point to get those off the mat nor was there transfer paper in the kit she got me. QVC you fail! But seriously, had some color infusion markers and transfer paper for that, both types of vinyl, card stock and card kit, both card mat and standard mat but not a single tool?!?! So I saw this kit for joy that had a weeder and scraper and also had vinyl transfer tape, none of those would get my cut off the mat without destroying it. Looking again for another set, tried this one. While I was able to use the straight weeding tool the blade on the spatula wasn't thin enough to get under the paper with how long it had been stuck there. What I ended up doing is using the weeding tool to lift up the edge and then either using the tweezers from this kit to pull up the small pieces or the spatula to ease up the bigger/longer pieces. All of the pieces are safely off the mat and into a snack back for later reassembly. Not ideal but I shouldn't have waited so long to get it off either. I really like the handles on these tools, they feel nicer in my hands than my original set. My original set also has normal tweezers instead of the reverse. When I was reading the description I couldn't wrap my head around what it was meaning, seeing and using them they are absolutely the right tool for most paper craft jobs and I am so glad I got a kit with them included. The edge on the spatula could be thinner and I feel it was set up for a left-handed person. I kept having to turn my hands at weird angles to use it right-handed but left-handed it was perfect. The scraper tool is also slightly thicker than my original one. The curved weeding tool is SOOOO much better in feel. The scissors are also superior because of having a cover and a sharper blade. I do like the cover on my original weeding tool better as it is closed at the top so there is no chance of having the tip peak out. The scoring tool is absolutely amazing. The scoring I made in the back of the packaging was done with no more pressure than one would use when writing with a pencil and it's clear and fairly deep. Overall it does have room for improvement but they are small things that I can overlook with the price point being where it is at. I may look for a right-handed spatula as even though I am ambidextrous I am still right-hand dominant.

I don’t have a cutting machine…but I do have an embroidery machine, and after a bit of a disaster the other day, I was looking for an easier way to unpick mistakes, trim jump threads an remove tear-off stabiliser from small spaces. These tools do a great job! The small sharp hook and pointy tool are great for lifting up and removing stabiliser and wrong stitching. The tweezers are great for lifting up jump threads so you can trim them more easily. The scissors clip threads OK, but are a little larger than expected and feel as tough the blades grind together a little roughly. The spatula is also useful for sliding under stabiliser to unstick it from the fabric if you have used basting spray. The scorer will come in useful for my paper crafting projects!
