It's a doorbell, so I didn't put too much thought into it—I just needed something to fit a tight space, and this was exactly the right width. Frankly, I was expecting to receive cheap plastic junk, but I got a sturdy piece of equipment instead! And it looks great! It took me less than 5 minutes to install, and it works exactly like it's supposed to. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it has a lighted button too! Two thumbs up!

American made And it’s much sturdier than the builder door bell.For those that say they returned it because it didn’t fit just drill a new hole tap in a plastic anchor.If it doesn’t light up can you flip the wires from one screw to the other and voila it lights up that simple

Light would not work when used for a garage door opener. Tried switching wires as suggested. Still not lighting. Returned

The doorbell installed easily and is well lit by led light. Before ordering, measure the original opening on the doorframe, which needs to be completely covered by this doorbell. Should there be a gap, wood filler is an easy fix.

Nice sturdy, attractive bell. It is not hollow where it appears it is, the "panes" are indented, it looks really nice.It is a flush mount, narrow, two wires, and lights up.It was installed months ago, very happy with it.

I really like the look of this doorbell and it works properly so far. Unfortunately, the screws really are terrible. I wish they would either send better screws or send two sets of them. They get stripped easily and shiny metal is exposed detracting from the purpose of an oil rubbed bronze piece. I'm going to try an contact Amazon to see if they will provide another set of screws.

Loved the look of it, but the screws on the inside that connect to the bell's wires are very flimsy and poorly made. I was able to get one loose, but the other stripped immediately and cannot loosen. Having to return to seller "Lighting and Locks" and pay for shipping on the return. There is a definite downside to buying something on Amazon that isn't fulfilled by Amazon. If you want this item, consider your buying options, make sure you use a perfectly sized screwdriver for the connection screws and be very careful.
