I bought these to replace one that I had lost off of a replica, Civil War, cavalry holster. The flap was held down with the strap that had a hole in it that went over top the brass buttton. The original class had unscrewed from the retaining screw on the underside of the flat and had gotten lost. So I searched online and found these at Amazon in several different sizes and was able to order them and repair my holster. I am very pleased with the quality and the fit. I was surprised to find these and very happy to learn that I could fix my expensive replica holster.

I used these to fix a rivet that fell off my D & B purse. So happy that I didn't have to trash my purse!

Just received this order and had to break the seal on the envelope to even see what was in the CLEAR package.Between the stickers and the paper inserts I couldn't see if these button studs were the right size or color.On top of that, each stud was in its own little bag.When I finally got thru all the plastic and stickers, I found the gold-colored studs that I ordered.The screws for the studs are nice and long so that they will go thru the thicker leather that I use.The head of the screw is almost the same size as the base of the stud. This means that there will be less chance of a pull thru if you do not make to big of a hole for them.The price of a little over a dollar each (with tax) is a little high but that is the price of things nowadays.Overall---- I am happy with this product and after some time passes, I will order more if they hold up to everyday use.

not sure what these studs are made of but it isn't brass. you can pick these up with a magnet.that and they feel real cheap I have no idea how long they will last.If you want these as a decorator item, not a closer mechanism, it may be OK.I will be returning these and trying for some solid brass ones.

These were perfect for the keychain I was swapping out from silver. The only problem was the indent for the Philips head on the back was too small for my smallest screwdriver. I just hand tightened the ball stud. It's holding fine. Would buy again.
