The Crankbrothers 17 in 1 multitool should be a must have for any cyclist right after your spare tubes and tire levers. This is a compact (if slightly weighty) multitool that has every bit you might need and even includes a chain breaker in those events where you might find yourself with a broken chain and need to install a new one.It is well built and despite all of the tools is compact enough to stash in your saddlebag or top tube/handlebar pouch. Whatever may become loose or need to be adjusted on your bike, the Crankbrothers Multi-Tool should be up for the job.

I like it. Comes in handy. Only issue I have is with the chainbreak. If you are using allen key then the chainbreak flops around. You can put the rubber band that comes with it or just live with it.

Got the M19.So far, I’ve used this tool on the trail several times in just a few weeks. Feels good in the hands.Really impressed with how sturdy the chain breaker is, being such a compact size.Used one of the wrenches to help me break off a spoke that busted off at the nipple. Long process, but, it works if you’re miles away from your vehicle or home. A file would have served me quite well in this situation. (And other possible scenarios) The file on my Gerber Dime was quite inadequate, but I’m going back to my Leatherman Squirt for that reason.Just wish it had larger open end wrench for applications like pedals. But that’s definitely no deal breaker.With my experiences, a file and sturdy pliers would be the two other features that would make this a near perfect multi-tool for MTB.I would have given it 4.5 stars on weight and versatility, but couldn’t figure out how to check a half star.I would definitely recommend this to any bike rider. BMX, MTB, or Road bike.
