…but something is different. The animals are cute and the markers look just like the markers in our other set, but they don’t act the same. I’ve washed the pets in our other set after they’ve sat forgotten overnight and gotten almost all of the color out. If you leave the marker on this set for even a couple of hours, it stays. As other reviews have said, if it dries, it’s done. And grown-up scrubbing with soap and water does next to nothing. What part of that is washable??? Something is wrong with this set.

This is a really fun toy, and something I wish I had as a kid for sure! The animals are well sculpted and slightly fuzzy (not smooth plastic) so the designs they draw won’t smear. The marker washes off super easily. I was expecting to have to take them to the sink because I didn’t think the little shower and brushes it comes with would do the trick, but I was wrong. My son loves it and has played with it every day since Christmas.

This was the number one item on my 7 year old's Santa list. I got several of these Scribble Pets sets when they were on sale on Amazon. Every kid that received one loved theirs. And the look on my kid's face on Christmas morning was priceless. Played with it for hours the first day. Can be a little messy with the water tub. My kids got water everywhere. But nothing stains. The white velvety animal figurines are cute. I would definitely recommend these and recommend buying additional Crayola washable markers to supplement the ones that come with the set.

I tolerate these things. My 5yr old daughter on the other hand loves, loves, loves these things. She takes a bath then my job is usually to color the animals then bring them to her in the bath and she washes them. Simple right? Well usually we do this for about hour a night. She loves it. Me on the other hand I have to color animals for a hour every night. I might complain but I wouldn't trade it for the world. 5 out of 5 stars definitely recommend.

We bought two Scribble Scrubble sets for our kids. They enjoy both and both seem to be made to be used over and over.On this one, the cardboard “set” is a realistically a waste. As a parent, I know the chances of us keeping something cardboard around and not looking like it has been destroyed after a week are slim to none. It’s okay for the initial play but then I would just plan on tossing the background thing.The good news is, the set is worth it without that anyway. It has a good amount of animals (twice or three times as many as the other set we bought) and the water feature scrubbing parts are what makes it fun for kids.
