Im not normally wordy on these reviews. But these deserve a note. most hook removers like these are then crappy made. bend and tweak easy. These actually have weight you can feel and have been holding up really well.

The hand grips are nice, the lanyard is a good feature (I have my doubts about its reliability though). They are the perfect length for the type of fishing I do.

The description says it is stainless, but it is a mild steel and painted. After one use and rinsing with fresh water, rust spots started to form on the surface. On the second use, after rinsing, the jaw rusted and is stuck from the rust and not usable anymore. For $2 less right now, you can get a brand name stainless version (minus the rubber handle) that is truly stainless and will last way longer. Save your money and time and don't order this item.

Wanted something nicer than the old school metal ones that seem to rust overnight.The bright color helps them to standout in dusk.The SS seems well finished and the quality is nice!

届いた時は結構 油がベトベトについてるので1度拭かないと匂いと滑りが気になる操作すると安い金属音が気になるが、問題なく使用できる持ち手の固定が出来ない為、ぶら下げている時に口が開いたままなのが気になる思いのほか口が大きめなので小魚には向かないかと以上の点をふまえて値段相応だと思う

I haven't used this for fishing yet but this works great for when I changed spark plugs on my ford and needed to retrieve the stuck coil boots from the old plugs!

Absolutely useless. Never been used, took it out fishing today, caught a small jack and had to remove a lure from its mouth. metal hinge snapped immediately so I had to cut the hook out with snips. AVOID. Definitely not stainless steel
