The description of the dimensions is right on. Be sure that this is exactly what you need. A comparison of the nuts on my banjos showed that these were narrower in width. Only one older banjo matched these nuts in width. Sadly, I can only give these three stars because THEY ARE PLASTIC! They are NOT BONE! As I do a lot of tinkering on banjos it is good to have a few replacement nuts on hand. Dave L.
