I love, love, love Crazier 8s but have made many (too many?) quilts with that set. The Scrap Crazy 6 is equal in quality, I just don't care for it as much as Crazier 8s. I decided to order the Crazy Scrap template set after looking at it time and again and watching the video a few times. My concern was the number of reports of people saying the set they received appeared to be used and somewhat damaged. My set arrived today and is in perfect condition. I assume the quality will be similar to that of the other two mentioned above. I look forward to putting it to the test. I normally start by making small quilts for my dogs. I will be watching for more offers from Creative Grids. Happy repeat customer.

Thick & sturdy, these clear acrylic templates are easy to use to cut multiple layers of fabrics, and a great way to use your scraps! A great addition to my "not in the mood to tiny piece" quilting days. Can finish several great looking scrap projects in only one day! With only 5 pieces to complete an 8" block, these go together fast with chain piecing, and possibilities are limitless.

I love the templates. I have made probably 2 or 3 quilts using them. Easy to use , fun to work with and turns out a great quilt. Only thing that would be better would be better to say which end of “ D” to cut out. It is easy to miss if not paying close attention.

Primarily I'm using this block to create crazy quilt patches using the decorative stitches on my machine. I use 4 fabrics and cut out the pieces then vary what fabric goes where....make it easy for each block to be unique and breaks up the sameness of the same fabrics being repeated. The block goes together very quickly and I guess if you wanted to make a plain wild quilt to use up fabric without decorative stitching that too would be a lot of fun to work on.

If you identify yourself as a "fabriholic" and your New Year's Resolution is to use up at least 5 plastic 20 gallon tubs of fabric before buying more, then you might want to PURCHASE THIS set of TEMPLATES and start cutting!! Then sit down and sew! Before very long, you should have several quilt tops constructed and ready to be passed on for quilting! Your quilt guild will thank you, your spouse will love you for it, your teen-age son who moves the tubs of fabric will be amazed, and the recipients will be warm!!!The templates are well made, slip resistant, clearly marked, easy to use, and above all, useful! (There is also a small black & white diagram in case you want to "pre-colour" your design before constructing.) Seriously, I own a lot of templates; some are rarely used, some moderately, and some that I use over and over. This set just went into the well used drawer.

These plastic templates have a non-slip covering in the seam allowance area on each piece. There is a graphic of the block that they make. I would have been happier if there had been at lease on quilt photo. They are interested in selling their patterns separately, but that said, the templates are great.

I saw a video showing these rulers being used on You Tube and decided I had to have them. The quilt demonstrated was really neat. Creative Grids makes super quilting rulers. And, these are no exception. The markings are easy to see, and the material they are made from is sturdy. I love the built-in "non-slip" feature. It makes them easier to use than other rulers without this feature. I have a number of different Creative Grid rulers, and they are favorites. I haven't had a chance to use the Non Slip Scrap Therapy rulers yet, but I'm eager to try them out. I know I'll love using them and making a "Scrap Therapy" quilt.
