Who doesn't love a blackboard? These are fun for writing messages or using as part of gifts or crafts, and the price can't be beat.

These are a good size, similar to the HWT/LWT chalkboards used to help children learn to write letters. But the blackboard is shinier than traditional boards and the chalk seems to slide more than absorb onto it. (I guess that's what "synthetic chalkboard" means.) The feedback from the chalk is different--you have to press harder to get the desired effect.

it seems to be a regular chalkboard that's small enough for kids to tote around with them. The wooden sides are smooth but sturdy, the board erases easily, and my daughter can draw then re-draw to her heart's content. the chalk she uses is the same stuff she uses on the driveway, if that makes a difference.

Brought these for my daughter class and so far it’s held up good. We usually use a wipe or paper towel with water and wipe it down then air dry it to clean it. I would say that 2 have broken from falling which sucked but I didn’t mind too much since it came with multiple. I figured this was the best option for back up boards and so far I’m happy with my purchase.

Got these for a bride to be for bridesmaid pictures and we forgot to use them. They were a little smaller than I expected, the frame is pretty wide so that accounts for a lot of space in the dimensions listed. But they would have worked for our purposes. I stained them to match the look of the wedding and it turned out decent. You can see where glue leaked out of the corners a little so if you want a perfect frame these might not be for you. They aren’t real chalkboard it’s painted wood, double sided, and I didn’t get the chance to try them out.
