This is definitely a heavy duty pipe wrench. I needed this for some repairs I needed to do at work. This really fit the bill. The teeth have plenty of bite. It's an odd tooth setup but it works really well. Nothing slipped and that's die to the teeth gripping well and the adjustments for tightening the jaws. Definitely heavy, it's cast Iron. I expect this to last me a lifetime!

As most of you probably know, Crescent brand tools are generally always well-designed, well-made tools. And they are nearly always above average quality-wise too.And this pipe wrench is no different. This is a *heavy*, well-designed, well-built pipe wrench. I literally can’t think of a single thing to complain about here. I don’t even think the price is unreasonable. I think the price is completely fair for what you’re getting.So, if you’re looking for a new, heavy-duty pipe wrench, you can stop looking now because this one is about as good as they get. Kind of the gold standard in pipe wrenches and one all homeowners should own.Solidly made and extremely heavy duty this wrench will outlast me.Well made markings for pipe sizes and to he honest you can get even a little more of an opening than the man listing of 2.5"Buy one pipe wrenches and buy this one.

This is one of those tools that I’m glad to have on hand, but likely won’t use very often. I saw a meme years ago that progressed through the phases of unsticking bolts and one of them was “I’m not asking.” That’s sort of how I feel about this tool. Smaller pipe wrenches are good for the vast majority of my household jobs, but every once in awhile I get a brass fitting that just refuses to cooperate. The extra leverage and bulk of this wrench will no doubt make short work of it. It’s nearly 6 pounds, well made, and the jaws slide effortlessly. My only criticism—which is minor and unrelated to function—is whatever adhesive they used to affix the label is terrible to remove and required some goo gone in my case. Other than that, this is a great product at a reasonable price.

This pipe wrenche will persuade stubborn pipes to start moving along.Pipes don't stand a chance. It's heavy, the teeth are aggressive and really grab ahold of the pipe good. The head is flatter than other wrenches, making it nice to get into some tight spots.This is a very good pipe wrenches for the money. I recommend it

Wow, this pipe wrench is incredibly well made and far exceeded my expectations upon receiving it. It's heavy, feels premium, and is well designed. The jaws operate smoothly and grip securely. This wrench will last forever and then some. Amazing value for the price. Highly recommended!

Very well made. Perfect size for the range of pipe sizes we deal with. Strong enough to withstand 3 foot long cheater use, or should I say abuse. Smooth, easy size adjustment. Over all fit and finish of this wrench is top notch.
