Quality item from the fine-grained wooden handle to the well-plated metal ferule. Inner bore is well centered and axial to the handle. Fair price for good quality.

They work, they hold files. But they are oddly small, even for mid-size files.

I ordered No. 4 handles and received handles much smaller than No. 4. The box even states "Ferrule #4", but these are not even close to any No.4 I've ever seen and couldn't possibly be used with the nicholson "pipeliner" files I bought them for. They'll definitely fit some of my much smaller files, but does me no good for the files I purchased them for. Rather disappointing.

This file handle works perfectly with the 7/32 Oregon chainsaw files I bought. Nice tight fit.

I ordered a size 4, and was sent a size 0. I guess to the order picker, all file handles look the same, and are assumed to work the same. Nicholson file handles are good products, if you use the correct handle size for a particular file.

Fit good. Pay attention to the size you need. I purchased some older American made filesat a yard sale. Got them cheap but they came without handles, these worked good.I like the wood handle.

very well made and a great price. This is my first file handle purchase, so it was smaller then I expected. My husband has some that are larger then this one. So this one is perfect for me.
