I really like this cushion. The only downside I can mention is that the light shows any dirt or marks very easily, but other than that, I really like it.It fits our wrought iron bench. It is waterproof and very easy to wipe off the rain droplets and then you can sit on it right away without getting all wet on the back of you pants. It is well made. It is thick enough to be comfortable and much better then sitting on six cold iron bars when it is colder outside. It is easy enough to clean since it has a zipper and you can just take it off and wash it in the washing machine. The stains come out quite well.There is a strap handle so you can carry it easy.The ties on each side are attached well and you can tie them tight and they stay put.As I mentioned, the only downside is the light color. We have trees near where the bench is and also our cat and our neighbor's cat who hangs out on our deck most of the day, so especially when it's windy, there are little tree bits that get all over it and sometimes brushing them off leave marks, plus the above mentioned cats can leave paw marks on them when their paws are dirty. The material it is made out of also like to collect and keep cat hair on it, but that can just be brushed off with your hand easy enough. As I mentioned, you can take off the cover to wash it or you could get a darker colored cushion cover in the correct size.

This bench cushion measures 48x18 inches. The cushion and the cover come vacuum packed. It is easy to put the cushion in the cover. There is a zipper that goes the length of the back edge of the cover. There are straps on two sides to use for securing the cushion to the bench so it doesn't move around. The cushion is well-made and durable. The fabric is nice, thick, and strong. There is cording around the edges of the cushion, which helps to give extra durability. I am using this cushion on an old bench that I will be restoring. It doesn't exactly fit, but it will do. It is a homemade bench and doesn't have standard measurements. Overall, this is a very nice bench cushion that is well-made and durable. I recommend it.

This cushion is just perfect to make hard benches and porch swings more comfortable. I did have to laugh at the very generic instructions that came with my cushion that warned me that some parts may be heavy and sharp, to tighten all the screws and to confirm that all the bolts, screws and knobs are tight every 90 days. I was kind of starting to wonder exactly what kind of cushion I had purchased! Am I really going to have to watch out for sharp things when I sit on it? Not overly appealing!Later on, I found my mother hiding in the pages when I was told children should not climb or jump on furniture. Thanks for the parenting advice, but I'm still not sure why this was necessary to say in reference to a cushion.The last pages of the instruction booklet were blank. Perhaps this is for taking notes about where the sharp parts, bolts, screws and knobs are so I don't sit on them?At any rate, the cushion definitely boosts the comfort of the metal porch swing I have, and, thankfully, hasn't stabbed or screwed me, gotten knobby or bolted.

This is a very nice cushion, thick foam. However, I ordered it based on the description and didn't check the measurements. Please be aware that it does not fit a standard hanging porch swing! It's so nice though I told my husband we needed to build a window seat so that we can use it.
