As someone with the hand-eye coordination of a distracted penguin and a long history of plant homicide, I approached this crochet kit with cautious optimism and zero expectations.But surprise: I’m hooked. (Crochet pun 100% intended.)These little yarn plants are adorable—succulents, strawberries, a dangly potted vine thing that now lives on my bookshelf and judges me with soft, yarn-knotted silence. The kit comes with everything you need: hooks, yarn, stuffing, safety eyes, wire (?!), talent (okay, it doesn't come with talent, but you don't have to either.) Most importantly, video tutorials that don’t assume you’re already a wizard. They talk you through each step like a patient friend who doesn’t mock you for getting your thumb stuck in a weird knot or for watching the same 7-second segment twelve times.Also? They give you extra yarn. Like they knew you were going to screw something up. I feel seen.If you’re a beginner with two left thumbs and a dream, this kit is delightuflly empowering. I made a cactus! It has a face! It is the only thing in my kitchen that looks happy.Highly recommend. Especially if you want a hobby that won’t leave you with half-finished scarves and the quiet shame of a dead fern.
