these bowls are thick and sturdy. They are a bit heavy and the handles are a tad small for handling one handed given their weight. If you put a hot stew, soup or chilli in a room temperature bowl it will bring the temperature of the food down while bringing the bowls temperature up. In other words, they act as a heat sink in an attempt to equalize the temperature between food and bowl. If that is a concern one might try heating the bowl before adding food.Other than that, they're nice, good looking, bowls.

Very nice. A bit on the expensive side, but big and easy to handle. Does not stain easily like the plastic microwavable bowls.No problems at all in the microwave, And the handles stayed pretty cool to the touch

I purchased a set of 4 of these at a clearance store last year and I loved them so much that I went looking for more on Amazon lol. I literally use them everyday. They are the perfect size for soup, chili, ice cream, a lunch portion of pasta, or a large amount of cereal. I love the handles because they stay cool when I reheat in the microwave. Like I said, the perfect bowl!

I needed something I could put in the microwave that was big enough to put a whole can of soup in. These are great! They are large and the handles don't get hot when they are microwaved.

After having several larger French White Pyrex bakers crack and break, I purchased these Crock Pot baking dishes. I have used them many times now and love them! They bake very evenly for a variety of foods (lasagne, cakes, etc.) and clean up super well. They have not scratched easily like my Pyrex did, which is a great bonus (zero scratches so far). The dish handles allow good control in/out of the oven. And I love the teal color—looks so nice on the table. Super happy with them.

I kept these. Nice size for soups and stews.Only thing, in the picture online it looks more blue-ish with white inside. Upon arrival, to me, it appears to be very green with an ivory inside.
