I bought two of these in July and one of them is already fraying at the side hem. I am not using a washer and dryer that beat things up. I rotate my hand towels and thus these have not been washed very often since they were ordered. My old Royal Velvet hand towels, many years old, have never done this. Overall the quality of these is okay not great. They appear to me made from inexpensive terry cloth.
