I was brand new to owning a crossbow and bought this as a replacement string. The assistant at Cabela's laughed at me when I asked him to string it. He said I shouldn't trust it, but I asked him to do it anyway. I should have trusted him! Only lasted about a dozen fires before it disintegrated. I was really disappointed in the quality of this product.

The string works and fits just as well as the one that came with my $80 Crossbow, maybe even a bit tighter and shoots just a tad faster. Just remember to apply wax every time you shoot it to be sure it does not wear out too quickly. If you are looking to stock up on backups to your crossbow string, this would not be bad choice at all as far as I can tell.
