It’s a great case, unfortunately Rita, Ashti, or Shiv couldn’t really help me because they didn’t understand that because of the case that I purchased was missing the backpack straps and was damaged and missing the insert foam that I wanted to talk about possibly getting 150 off since I have to go buy those items that I were assuming were included.

Item as advertised as a flight case, but there’s no sturdier than the fiberglass model which is half the price

This is an odd review given I returned the case but I'm still giving it five stars. I hope it will prevent future buyers from assuming what I did . From the measurements given on Amazon for the interior of the case you could assume a Martin 000/om would fit perfectly. It does not! Nor does it accept Yairi 000/ folk guitars. A Martin 00 does fit and the case would be perfect for that. What Crossrock needs to publish to avoid returns is a measurement of the center of the waist from the bottom of the guitar. As is, the upper bout and lower bout measurements would work but where the waist of 000/om guitars is prevents them from fitting in the case. I guess classical guitars are shaped differently but don't look like they are. So why five stars? This is an excellent well made case that would have no problems surviving being checked as luggage on an airplane. It's light and very strong with the best latches I've seen on any case of any kind with a good TSA locking latch to secure your precious instrument. I wish they had this case in the 000 shape but I couldn't find one and I don't want to lay out the cash for the carbon fiber. So I ordered the fiberglass version with a leather like finish, which I'm sure I'll be pleased with.

My luthier-made guitar fits well in this case in contrast to the Gator case I used before in which the guitar fit was loose. The inside finish of the Crossrock is good: effective padding and good neck support. Rather than a fixed compartment below the neck for storage, the Crossrock features a zippered bag held in place with Velcro. Perhaps the ability to pull the storage bag out of the case might be helpful at times. The latches and lock work nicely without harming right hand finger nails (another case I have has larger metal latches that can catch on fingernails). Outer finish is nicely done, shiny, with a surface texture to hide scratches; soiling does show up on that shiny surface, though. Compared to the $160 Gator case, which has sides over the body of guitar that can be depressed with hand pressure, the Crossrock is rigid withstanding considerable hand pressure (Hiscox case I have also is strong). In my opinion, the case will protect my guitar better than the Gator without adding additional weight. I'm not sure what "Poly carbon" means (with an additional cost over the fiberglass case) and if it's worth it to upgrade from fiberglass. I'm satisfied with the case!

I got this guitar for a 1942 Martin 0, so you can imagine I want to protect the guitar, but I need a lightweight case. This Crossrock case is super light - and its 4/4 Classical size is great for my size 0 Martin; I just put the rolled up t-shirt I keep in all my cases as a wipedown cloth at the bottom, and the guitar does not move in the case at all. And it feels very sturdy - I never intend to check my guitar into Baggage, but if I ever had to, this case (with cover zipped on) appears sturdy enough for the job.Just as importantly, when the case arrived, the padded backpack straps were missing. I contacted Crossrock with proof of purchase and they were sending me the straps within 24 hours. Excellent responsiveness!!

I have had this case for my classical guitar for several months as a music student. The case is quite sturdy and I do not worry about my instrument while it is in it. The latches are unique in that they do not click into place, rather they are held in by the tension of the gear. It takes some getting used to but having them come unlatched is not an issue. This case will not have a weathertight seal. Rain won't get into the case but outside humidity will. Air seeps in and makes humidity control difficult in an uncontrolled environment. For a classical guitar, the fit will not be 100% snug. The case has a large lower bout meant for curved back guitars. I was disappointed that no additional foam inserts were provided. I reached out to the retailer about this and they said they will ship some out to me for $10 USD. I have not heard back since my confirmation in August. The foam padding inside is decent quality and looks really good. There is a removable velcro bag that sits below the neck of the guitar for random accessories. I keep my mute, tuner, Barnett support, and capo inside of it. The bag zips up parallel to the guitar neck. Two keys are provided for the TSA lock and both function normally. I'm yet to take this case on a flight but I think it will hold up well.

Love the weight, the white is a matte white so it is very prone to scuffs and marks, the “case cover” is a bag that comes along with it and it’s not the best quality but everything else fits amazing. For my Cordoba C7 it’s a very snug fit so it presses on my strings and has rubbed the strings against the frets but it hasn’t shortened the life span of my strings. Backpack straps are sturdy and feel super safe, and the TSA lock doesn’t give me any problems like others have before. Highly recommend.
